Dream Factory National Ambassador, NASCAR driver, Alex Kennedy visits Rochester

Fresh off his Saturday race at Watkins Glen, NASCAR driver and Dream Factory national ambassador Alex Kennedy made a visit to Rochester Sunday afternoon, where he helped give one young girl a dream trip with her family.

Kennedy was at Linda's Pizzeria on Lyell Avenue, where he met, signed autographs and posed for pictures with Dream Factory recipients and their families.

One of those children is five-year-old Olivia Peone. She has a heart defect and asked the Dream Factory to send her and her family to Disney World. Olivia's dream trip will come true in September when she will fly to Orlando, Fla. with her family, including her twin sister Tessa and younger sister Gabriella.

Kennedy, a 20-year-old native of New Mexico, will visit Dream Factory families in Ithaca before his next race in Montreal.

Mia (who loves blue lollipops) will be flying to Orlando, FL on May 4, 2013.  She hopes to meet all of her favorite Princesses.

The Dream Factory is thrilled to be awarded a 4 star rating on Charity Navigator
